So what does InnoGames do? They create a subpar event (a 30+ day slog for what is essentially Sacred Sky Watch Level 2), and they have it be a women's soccer event. This is not my opinion, the market research is widely available. The female events are often referred to as "not worth watching", even by female viewers. If you ask why women's athletic events don't receive the same fanfare (TV ratings, endorsement deals, etc.) as male athletic events, the most common answer is that "the male athletes are the best, so people watch that". You know what I find attractive in an Event Building, especially one in a 30+ day event? GOOD STATS!įrankly, I find this contest extremely sexist. This is one middle-aged male who won't be filling his city with these things.
